About Me!

I was a divorce therapist long before my own separation and divorce. My work really happened on accident as women were referred to me that needed support before leaving unhealthy marriages. Divorce is one of the most stressful life events, believe me I know that because I have lived it and supported people during it.  I was also drawn to working with HSP’s after confirming the trait within me after years of questions and unknowns. Working in a high stress environment forved me to look for the answers for my health problems and required that I make my own personal life shifts. I am certified as HSP aware by Dr Elaine Aaron which provides me the clinical knowledge to support you.

While I use many fancy theories I rely heavily on doing grief work to recover from the loss of relationships, the loss of families and the loss of shared dreams. I am an ecclectic therapist and really tailor treatment to the specific needs of each client, no two divorces are the same. I combine elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, Solution-focused and strengths-based approaches, and motivational coaching (for those who want it).

Holistic Psychotherapy!

Holistic psychotherapy, focuses on the relationship between mind, body, and spirit, attempting to understand and address the way issues in one aspect of a person can lead to concerns in other areas. It is through the combination of traditional “talk therapy” along with experiential and a holistic approach that enable my clients to go more deeply into their own process. I use Brainspotting, Body/Energy Awareness Techniques, Mindfulness Practices/Guided Imagery and Visualization Processes.

Get personalized, super supportive coaching designed to help move past the barriers and grow into your most confident, healthy, and happy self.  Coaching can be used to address relationship issues, self esteem issues, separation issues, and dating preparedness.
